Our Story

A Family Kitchen, Winnipeg Grown

Mar's Sisig began as a husband-and-wife dream. Marson and Christine Ocampo opened their first Filipino restaurant in Winnipeg during the pandemic years, with Marson cooking every service himself. Today the family runs three Filipino restaurants across the city, still built on the same home-style recipes.

"Sizzling pork sisig — chargrilled pork with citrus, onion, chili, mayo and egg — is the plate we are named for, and it still arrives at your table crackling."

Generous portions, fair prices and a warm welcome are what Winnipeg keeps coming back for. Find us on McPhillips Street in Garden City — open from 7:00 AM for Filipino breakfast and able to seat up to 250 guests for parties — on Jefferson Avenue in The Maples, and on Winnipeg Avenue in the North End.
